It'll be interesting to see whether or not the ban on bump drafting will
reduce the number of accidents. I have my doubts but we'll see on Sunday.

gee that's origional. in both races there were a combined 5 lead changes
and if you take time to review the finishing order to the driver starting
order, you'll see there weren't too many drivers that accomplished drastic
finishing positions. the biggest jumps were made by Edwards, Johnson and
Earnhardt in race #1 and Martin,Petty and Mears in race #2.

Could it be that no one was inclined to bust their butts or their cars doing
crazy and exciting stuff today, being that (a.) there were only a handful of
spots in the 500 that could be raced into today and (b.) Sunday pays a whole
lot more money and has a whole lot bigger trophy than the 150s? You pays yer
money and takes yer chances, I don't recall seeing the words "you are
guaranteed an exciting race" on the tickets people buy.
