Default Welcoming Japan ? - 02-02-2006 , 06:31 PM

Are you serious ?

Well, I guess it is so. After all, money does talk. (damn)

I have been an avid race fan for years. In my humble opinion, NO << - - -

Did you get that NO ? NO << - - - -

This to me is the last straw. Old fart speaking.

I love racing, on the ground, in the air, in space, where ever.

Okay, so it is now Nextel Cup, that was a hard pill to swallow,
hard enough even.

I speak and understand several languages, and truly appreciate many
cultures that I have been introduced to in my life.

But I most humbly do not and will not accept another country being
accepted into the American racing scene.

Totally inappropriate.

I do not and will not ever watch baseball, football, soccer nor any other
sport for one reason.

Yes, I am prejudiced, I hate everyone equally, Period.

I am a fighter, very tough and rigid to this day.

Racing, is racing !

NO ! I will not accept Toyota, nor any other other foreign entity entering
into the ALL AMERICAN RACING SCENE.

Okay, so they have bought their way into the Busch Truck Series. (grrrrrrr).

I am wondering how many other racing fans are feeling the same way.

After all there are other productive things I could be doing besides
sitting on my behind and watching GO FAST, TURN LEFT.

After asking around, I find I am not alone in this opinion, but I am
really curious to know across America and around the world, how many
racing fans are for or against this move ?

Hells bells, there are no racing that offer feedback to something like
this, WHY ?

Shove it our face and we, racing fans, are supposed to accept this, point
blank ! Not !

Well, not I for one.

Yes, yes, yes. I am an old fart.

My T-Shirt still reads "Fuck Japan, Pray for war.", after all that is
where the money i$, right ?

Spee_Der said that.

Seeing as every car on the track was handmade outside of dodge, chebby, or
ferd's factories, who really gives a damn if another "brand" is added to the
mix.

American workers build those foreign cars you ignorant motherfucker. I
suggest you either wake up, and start supporting your countries economic
growth, _and trust me that is does not lie in the hands of GM, Ford, Or
Chrysler) or shut the fuck up old man, you are making a fool of yourself
and your klan buddies...

I hope all the foreign car makers get involved in cup racing. NASCAR runs
template cars so what difference does it make whether the sticker says Chevy,
Ford, Isuzu or Nissan? The more manufacturers that get involved the more
sponsorship money will be available to hopefully get some single team owners
competitive again.

Indeed. And who's to stop Jack Roush, or anyone else for that matter, from
running Jaguar or Volvo decals on his cars if FoMoCo pays him to?

Hey, don't include Chrysler with the American makes. I wonder where Daimler
got their workers between 1939 and 1945.

Hehe. That one prolly went over most folks' heads. Can I take a guess? I'd
guess concentration camps, just like Krups & Braun did, and all the other
German manufacturers of the era.

I'd also guess that not a lot of average folks understand the current BMW
logo, where it came from, and why that has a bearing on this conversation...
