The answer is really quite simple when you stop to think about it.
Cameras will follow Jr. whether he is running up front or dead last
for at least several years. The Earnhardt name alone will insure
that. Just look at the amount of red in the stands a Talledega. As
long as Jr. gets on TV with Bud stuff on, I am getting real value for
the cash. Just don't sign too long of a deal and you are safe if he
runs at Childress or in a pedal cart.

The teams Jr. has a choice of are all top teams so where he goes would
be the least of my worries. A MUCH bigger worry would be another
company stepping up and raising the price of keeping him. That's what
Bud needs to worry about. Just how much would it be worth to GM to
get the GM Service Plus back on the black 3 with Dale Jr. driving it.
The price to stay with Jr. might rise to the point that its not a
smart move for Bud.

It was mentioned that Visa was interested.

Wonder if he would have an ugly gold and blue car?
