Why would NASCAR set up Mayfield? What is their purpose in doing so? There
needs to be a method to the madness. Why single him out? What has done to
them? All you Mayfield defenders, tell me WHY!

to save face.
they are incapable of admitting they are wrong so after the first test and
Mayfied disputing it they went into the must destroy mode.

they did it to Richmond and had he not died he'd have had a excellent court
case.

LOL! Great links.

Looks like they admit to mistakes about once every 5 years or so.
Guess Jeremy will have to wait another 4 years.

I know _exactly_ what is being talked about and am on JM's side this
time (first time for everything).

I think he has a snowball's chance in hell, but it is still a chance
and I am pullikng for him.

I hope it does not kill NASCAR but would not mind if it cleared out
most of current management who quite obviously set him up for the
kill.

Feels kind of weird; I like NASCAR and don't like JM but am rooting
for the other side on this one because I believe in a fair fight.

Mayfield has always been very outspoken about what he thinks is wrong
with NASCAR and with his team owners, variously ... I think Jeremy is
being a bit paranoid at this point, but who knows. NASCAR rules the
roost.

They'll admit them when a few hundred thousand people saw it for themselves
and there's no place to hide.
