Default Yates+DEI? - 05-11-2007 , 07:36 PM

What came of the rumor that DEI would merge/buy Yates?

Makes more sense now than before Dale Jr's move, eh? Any rumblings?

Not really. Junior gets paid for being the country nitwit endorser of Chevy
cars. Sort of like Jethro Bodine but more current. Anybody who would buy a
Chevy car deserves to be a Junior fan. They have some lousy cars.

In one of the MANY transcripts I've read over the past 2 days, she
said that she would continue to run Chevrolets.

So I don't see it happening.

It's never good to lose your entire wad at once : )

Losing Junior probably drops DEI down to 5th in the Bowtie pecking order
behind Ginn.

Well then, things would be right on track for the way she is
supposedly running DEI.

I saw somewhere that the value of DEI decreases by about 50% with the loss
of Junior. So if she had agreed to turning over 51% to Junior, her remaining
49% would have been worth just about the same as what her 100% is worth now.

That was probably a Kelly Earnhardt quote. LOL
