i just got this car i need help when i give it gas it doesn't come out of
1st gear its a automatic its not shifting and it doesn't go over 30 can
some one help me out

Sounds as though you have solenoid trouble in your tranny, you need to see a
tranny specialist.

Is the speedometer working?

Is the gear selector switch working properly? What happens when you try
to move the car, from a stand still, with the shifter in 3rd position?
It should shift 1st to 2nd to 3rd.

If you try the same with the shifter in 2nd position, the car should
start moving and stay in 2nd gear.
