Hello, recently my altima has been having trouble getting out of 1st gear.
When it tries to change out of 1st, it just revs up high then after awhile
it will switch to the next gear. It only does this in 1st. It changes out
well after that. It also only seems to be a problem when I try to take off
fast. I went to the Nissan dealer and the mechanic said it was some type of
internal transmission problem. Any ideas what it could be? Do I need a new
trasnmission or it something simple?

go the same problem, also when putting in reverse it will rev up and then
kick in - do i need a new transmission job done?
