Hi,

I have a 2001 Altima with this weird problem... I bought it a couple of
months ago from the guy who services our other Altima. I trust the guy
implicitly.

The problem is: filling up the gas tank is a chore. I get about 5 gallons in
on a near empty tank and the filler hose fills up. Then I can only get about
1.5 gallons in before it shuts off again. And I cannot fill the tank up past
3/4.

My guy checked the level reading for the tank, says it's spot on, and
checked that filler hose, or whatever it's called, was not blocked. He can
find nothing wrong with the setup. He says his next step is to get an Altima
gas tank and take it apart.

This is so weird, I'm not expecting many replies if any, but if you have any
suggestions, please send them my way.
