Default 2001 Nissan Sentra door lock - problem found - 10-25-2004 , 09:42 PM

As I mentioned in a previous post, my key worked fine in the ignition
and trunk, but would not lock or unlock the door. I took it to the
dealer today (it's under warranty) and found out that the lock
cylinder actuating rod was left out when the car was built in Mexico.

My thought exactly! I bought it used a month ago, and after I got over
the remote thingy kick, I noticed it. When I mentioned it to the folks
at work, a few people admitted that they didn't know if their keys
worked or not!
