For over a year at random times my radio will pop and then lose
power. Then the power will flicker off and on for some time.
Eventually it will go off completely. Then, miraculously, some time
later it will come back on and I won't have any problems for weeks
until it happens again. Help! Any ideas? Has this happened to
anyone else?

It sounds like a internal short on one of the boards best bet is to send it
to www.unitedradio.com they will giv you a est of repair first
