My 96 (N) micra makes a rumbling grinding noise whilst running. It sounds similar to a noisy bearing like a wheel bearing or siezed on caliper thats rubbing on the brake disk. The engine sounds fine in nuetral you can rev it and it sounds normal. When you drive off the noise starts, if you press in the clutch it stops. It happens in all gears Any ideas? -- Posted at author's request, using http://www.AutoBoardz.com interface Articles individually verified to usenet standards.
