98 Sentra hood won't open

98 Sentra hood won't open - 08-17-2009 , 09:13 PM

The hood won't pop on my 98 Sentra. I can hear the cable working, but
not sure why it's not disengaging. I've soaked the mechanism with WD40
also.

Can I remove the front grille? Any suggestions on how to get it open?
