Got a new-to-me Frontier, extended cab, with one jump seat on the
passenger side. The drivers side has a recess that looks identical,
but there is a first aid kit, jack, and tools there. If I got another
jump seat from a wrecker, could I install it on the driver's side?

Any good sources of salvage parts for Nissan trucks?

You would not be adding just a jump seat, but you would have to consider the
structural supports and anchors within the wall of the vehicle that allows a
jump seat to bear the weight of the passenger using it. Those braces and
supports do not exist on the driver's side of the vehicle, so a jump seat
addition will be a purely cosmetic item.
