My daughter has the above and recently had a fan belt replaced when her car was serviced. 2 months later there is a squeal from the belt and I think it needs adjusting (tightening). I opened the bonnet but cannot see where to adjust it. There are 2 belts - one seems tight enough but the other a little loose. The loose belt turns the alternator (generator?) on the top, right when looking at the engine from the driver's side of the car (that is, the right side in Australia). Can anyone help me? Vaughan |

there is no slot, loosen the upper bolt a bit and the bottom bolt if i remember right screws through an adjuster, kind like a square nut that slides inside a bracket, if ya see it, yul know what i mean. tighten or loosen that bolt and in turn yul adjust the alternator if all else fails, loosen the bolts and look for anything that makesthe alternator move.
