I have a 95 pathfinder. There is a rubbing, scraping noise coming from the front pass. side tire...It is not the brake pads, they are good. Plus when stepping on the brakes, noise does not change pitch or get louder or softer. No scrapping marks on inside of rim, not brake line rubbing on tire, not dust shield rubbing on rotor, tire not rubbing on anything, it happens turning or going straight, not bearings ... not a grinding type of noise. Noise starts when car gets warm and stops at over 30 mph... Also checked drive shaft, no rubbing from there. Had neighbor check also stumped. Anyone with any ideas? Took both tires off and double checked pads even though noise is not affected when stepping on brake pedal..... |

I'd be taking it apart, especially if you've never serviced them in the past. |
