Default Re: 1995 Pathfinder XE Question - 06-23-2003 , 09:42 AM

I added a cooler to my 95's AT lines, at the time of a major failure,
most likely caused by a dealer using the PF5 flush system (instead of
performing the requested and Nissan recommended service procedure). I'm
still really bitter over Nissan coporate's lack of support for my
complaint. After the trans rebuild (not by Nissan--they will never touch
my vehicle again), I temporarily lost the crisp shifting. I let the
trans shop bore out the ______ (mind went blank) holes and all is well.
I've got 133,000 miles. Rebuild was done around 122,000.

I'm looking at a 1995 Pathfinder XE with about 104,000 miles on it.
I've driven it and it appears to be in very good condition. It did
shift a little hard and I've read one JD Power review that complained
about the auto trans over-heating. Is there any known problem with
the A/T on these vehicles?

thanks!

Dan
