Ok here's a weird one.
My Primera 1.8L SE (UK Spec) has developed a bug with the drivers side
electric window.
If I flick the window switch to get the auto close it gets 2/3 of the
way up and starts to re-open! If I am holding the switch it goes
straight up with no hesitation. Anyone know a good probable cause of
the glitch and a cure?
TIA |
The CAUSE is the auto-stop operation coming into effect. When the Auto
close is used, there is a safety device that stops the window raising if
a child's head etc.is likely to be caught! The window is sticking in
its runners and thinks there is something stopping it raising.
Cure? No idea, I'm afraid. But now you know the cause, perhaps you
can find a cure.
