I have a '91 300ZX (2+2) that is in dire needs of new struts in the rear and I have a few questions... 1) What is recommended to get me the best bang for my buck. (Be as specific as possible - suspension isn't my thing.) |
|
2) Is this something that I can do myself, or is it a massive headache? |

2) Is this something that I can do myself, or is it a massive headache? Main bitch is you have to remove ALL the plastic from the interior in the back of the car to get to the upper mounts. -- |

How much do I need to mess with the axle? |

Am I going to need any special tools to keep the body from mashing my face in when I'm down there? |

???? Again have you even looked under there yet? And if you think you could hurt yourself trying this then DON'T attempt it. |

One more question... My struts are obviously bad and in need of replacement, but how can I tell if I need to replace the springs as well? |
