Our 97 Max. has 160K and still running strong. Our last Nissan was a Sentra and lasted until 275K with the original clutch. Had to get rid of it because the frame had rot out on us. I think this Max. will go bejond the 200K mark. I change the oil every 3 - 4K and the antifreeze every 25K. And yes I use the Prestone antifreeze. This is the NEW every engine/car formula. -paul If you're talking about this one; http://www.shamrockchicago.com/PrestonAf.html it says that it is not meant to be used when flushing the system, only for topping off. CD Been doing this since new. No problems and the car is 10...TEN yrs old. Original water pump and radiator. The only thing I have changed related to the cooling system are the hoses. I think I'll continue with my practice. -paul Fair enough, but also bear in mind that water pumps tend to go at about 150 to 200000 miles. So I guess we'll see.
