on my 05 Maxima SE with AT. Very disappointing....

The guy running the dyno is a Corvette tuner,
and he suggested that I reprogram the car computer.
He gave me a list of brands/makers: SuperChips, FastChips,
HyperTech, TTS, Diablo, so I researched them, but none of these
can reprogram the Nissan Maxima 05 microprocessor. Any
suggestions? Did anyone reprogram their 6th generation Maxima?

I hope you were using premium fuel? Have you checked to make sure the knock
sensor code isn't set? There is no CEL with that code and that will kill
the performance as well as using anything other than premium fuel.

What is weird is that the speed limiter kicked in at below 100 mph!
I believe the technician ran the car in the 3rd gear.

I was using 92 octane.
It was sunny, temp. in the mid eighties.
Traction control was disabled.

And the dyno was a DynoJet 248c.

I'm not sure I understand what you meant about the knock sensor.
