Hello, Our 97 Max has started to click/clunk in the front end while making left hand turns. I suspect the CV joints. The inner and outter boots have not split open, but I assume they will need to be replaced. Can I replace the boots and re-grease the CV joints? Or will I have to replace parts? The car has 150K and I would like to get another year out of it and really don't want to sink a ton of money into it. Paul == |

Check around. I was able to buy reconditioned CV joints [including new boots] for my '93 Maxima for under $100 each and have them installed for not too much. Maybe you would be able to do a similar thing. |
