Man, except for snows, why would you put 15" on a Maxima?? That would look
goofy as hell!

Do you have part number info or specs on the rims you bought, where you
bought them? Would help.
Thanks, I am at ekirstein at catskill.net, if you want to email me

For my 01 SE I have a set of 215/65/15 snow tires on 15" rims; no
problem
with clearances/rotors, or speedometer.

Stock 225/50/17
radius 12.9"
diameter 25.9"
circumference 81.2"
revs/mile 780

Snow 215/65/15
radius 13.0"
diameter 26.0"
circumference 81.7"
revs/mile 776

Also it won't look right and your speedometer would be off by quite a
bit. Sell the tires on ebay and buy the right ones.

on an SE? Is there a brake rotor compatibility problem. I don't care
much

Thanks for any comments.

The dealer has just ordered some 15" wheels for me from TireRack. This is
for my snow tires which I have left over from my '89 Maxima. Hope it all
fits.

Yeah, I was referring to newer Maximas with the "goofy as hell" comment.
The 89 is a much smaller car (I think.. haven't actually driven one in +10
years).

The 89 is what I just got rid of for the 2000, so your "goofy as hell"
comment stands. I'll see just how goofy when I get my snows on this
November.
