Turbo or not to turbo

Would it be worth it for me to put a turbo on my 1990 maxima (australia)? Im
just looking for ways to make it faster as i would like to start racing it.

As long as you are prepared to seriously upgrade the transmission, the stock

unit won't cope with too much..

why not supercharge it? they have a kit for like 2,000 (US), my brothers
friend at school did that to his 2000 max and wow is all I can say (not sure
if they have that kit for a 1990 though)
