Hello, I have a problem. my 92 sunbird starts fine but after 10 miles of
driving, when coming to a stop sign or traffic light the engine shuts
down. The car idles fine, but when I take it out of park through reverse,
neutral and into drive the car lurches forward and dies. It runs (idles)
fine in park and neutral. If I raise the hood and sit for 20-30 minutes I
can go on my way for another 10 miles. Has any one experienced this
phenomen? Can the o-2 sensor cause this problem??
