Default 2001 Sunfire Odometer Resets Itself - 09-11-2008 , 05:29 PM

It has a digital odometer. At around 90K miles, the battery went dead.
When the new battery was added, it went to 35K. Ideas?

I decided to unhook the battery overnight. When I reconnected the next
day, the odemeter reading returned to its normal, previous reading.

Didn't you like 35k better?
