I think that my fuel pump is going. The problem is that when I get it started it runs for about 5 seconds then shudders and stalls. If can get it started, I will drive for a few minutes and then when I press on the gas I get no acceleration. If I pump the gas while driving I am able to accelerate, slowly. I got a quote from Canadian Tire and they told me that the fuel pump alone would be like $500 not including labor. It this right? It seems very high. Thanks, ~Amanda~ Husbands 97 Sunfire fuel pump totalled $1100 at the dealer |
