Thanks Pete I've managed to avoid doing it yet at work, but I recall the procedure is this: With the car on a drive-on lift, so that it is level, and with the trans at normal operating temp, remove the fill plug. Add fluid until it pours back out all over you. Seriously. It's a pain. It can only be low if it leaks, so you might as well fix it first. GM did this for environmental reasons I think. People adding fluid to things that leak is wrong. GW |
