Does the rest of the unit still light up? Is it a tape, or CD? Does the rest
of the unit still work (radio, CD or tape)? If memory serves, you have the
same unit as I do, and I'm pretty sure it's only a light bulb behind the
display that tends to go on some cars. Try giving it a couple taps with your
finger and see if it comes back on.

Everything else is working fine all lights are on and yes I have tap if with
my finger a few times and nothing. The clock sits by it's self on top of the
radio and tape, I have a 12 disk change in the trunk.

Go here: http://www.corvetteradios.com/corvetteradios_013.htm
That should pretty much cover all of your questions.

Thanks 80 Knight, now if I take the Radio out and replace the light doesn't
the radio have a lock code. How do I get the lock code before I disconnect
the battery and lock the radio.
Thanks Bill

Take a look in your owners manual, it will tell you how to deactivate the
theft lock. It usually isn't even on, as it doesn't come activated from the
factory. You (or whomever has owned the car before you) needs to activate it
and give it a password. If you are the only one who has owned the car, and
you never programmed a theft code into it, then you won't have a problem.
Also, if you have ever had the battery unhooked from the car, and the radio
still worked fine, you won't have a problem.
If you did program it, or feel it has been programmed, and can't find your
owners manual, let me know, I will get you the instructions from mine, they
are likely the same.
