Default 1991 c2 Warning light freak out - 12-10-2006 , 11:45 AM

I have a 1991 C2 911 [ http://x-bit.org/911/ ].

After about 3-10 minutes of driving with my lights on ALL (minus the
engine light) of the warning lights on the dash will come on and the
warning buzzer will activate. This does not happen when the lights are off.

Any idea what could be causing this?

Another side question concerning this: The Buzzer! OMGoodness, its loud!
Is there a quick and easy way to disable the warning buzzer located on
the dash until I get this fixed?

Thank you,

don't know the 91, but this sounds like low voltage - are your headlights
dim? you may have a bad diode in the alternator so it can't put out full
current - that coupled with an older battery will let the voltage sag with
the load of the lights - so I'd start by hooking up a voltmeter and seeing
how much the voltage drops when you turn the headlights on
