Default 997 aftermarket front strut brace? - 12-13-2006 , 11:22 AM

I added a front strut brace to my last car and it helped a lot, but it was
no Porsche.

I have a 997 C4C, would adding a brace make any noticeable difference?

what are you trying to improve by adding such a brace?

On my last car, a 99 Mitsu GSX, the brace helped with racking on uneven
gravel and semi paved roads.

I have a 97 993 with a strut brace and my friend has a 96 993 without one.
Without question, my car stays flatter and holds turns better.

Oh... I didn't mention, but both are C4Cs. I highly recommend adding one.
With this much obvious improvement it astonishes me that this is not
standard equipment from Porsche.

If you would like a pic I'd be happy to send you one.

Happy New Year!
