Hello all,
So what would you do if you were me?

I have 2 Porsches, and really cant afford to keep both. One car is a
1984 911 Turbo - 48k miles (big mods! Pushing 350hp). The other car is a
1993 968 - 100k miles.
Unless you need the extra cash the 930 would bring, I'd sell the
968 and get a Japanese beater for bad weather. And please, put some of
the money towards cleaning up the 930, okay?

This is a hard choice, as both of these cars are historically grande.

I think the 968 has more exclusivity, and will potentially be worth
more then the 911 as time passes. Especially when comparing vehicle
conditions. The 968 production numbers were pretty low, and they
didn't make them for very long. Its a fantastic 4 cylinder with
amazing torque flexability. I would be inclined to keep the 968, as
the superior engineered vehicle. Its in drive ready condition, and
sounds like it will remain mint with just the standard preventative
matainance. The more I learn about 968s the more I like them. With the
Variocam technology they managed to maxamize Torque power through the
rev range. 1500-5500 achieving maximum Torque. This is the perfected
form of the 4 cylinder Porsche. There was never a better one built.
This can not be said of the 930, as they have continued to make
upgrades. Porsche essentially went as far as they could go with the 4
cylinder engine. 3.0 litres is unheard of, even by todays standards.
With the combination of rarity and practicality, I would stick with
the 968. Ofcourse many of the 911 die hards would never admitt to the
excellence in engineering of the 968. I've heard quotes like "If its
not a 911, its not a Porsche."

The 968 is a refined, exclusive, practical car. An engineering
masterpiece that remains the mark of unmatched excellence and timeless
styling.

Now that I've convinced myself... on second thought.. keep the 930.

How much do you want for the 968?

They are both beatiful cars. I would keep the one I loved the most
regardless of the work that needs done. If your looking to sell the
car,and you would like to recieve the true value of the cars full worth.
You can post it free at; www.uscarnetwork.com/27753 Where car buyers
go looking for cars such as yours! Good luck!

Keep the real Porsche, the 911
the 968 isn't a real Porsche as its an Audi.
