Fan Speed Switch - 9000 (`90)

My 9000 has the basic "manual" fan switch. It now only
works on the highest setting...is this an easy thing to
for me to fix myself?

Sounds like the resistor has burn't out. Its located in the fan motor
housing behind the false bulkhead under windscreen.

Common problem unfortunately. But it also affects other cars than Saab.
