Eeyore <rabbitsfriendsandrelations (AT) notcoldmail (DOT) com> gurgled happily, sounding much like they were saying: One can only hope that with the split from GM that they will cancel the 9-4x too. Why? It won't sell well in Europe - it may not even be sold over here - but it'll be hotcakes in the US, Saab's biggest market. But it's GM intellectual property surely not Saab ? So GM would have to pay Saab a licence fee to put a Saab badge on it. Or vice-versa. But, no - I think a lot of the dev was Swedish, so it's the Caddy-badged one that'll be getting licenced. Probably as a part of the production deal. p.s incidentally I read somewhere recently that the UK is Opel's biggest market. Even assuming Vx = Opel, I'd be surprised. |

According to Saab it will.... Yet they don't even have a buyer yet. I'd say we should wait and see what the new ownership decides they want to market. |
