I get about 20mpg when using A/C and 22mpg when not, with an even mix of
highway/city driving. Haven't taken it on a long highway drive yet to determine
long-range mileage. I have the all-wheel drive model.

If you live in California expect drastically lower mileage than they
promise. About 6 mpg lower than is spec'ed. I just returned from a
long road trip to the Seattle area and from the moment I filled up in
Oregon I started getting the maximum mileage 23 to 25 mpg. The moment
I filled up in California the mileage dropped back to 20 mpg. This is
with the driving being under substantially the same conditions -
driving Interstate 5 at about 75mph, with the a/c running all the
time. Equal combination of mountain road and flat, straight road
driving.

Whatever additives they put in the gas in California is ruining my gas
mileage. I'm really really pissed.

Good God, that's awful.

I just got back from a trip to North Carolina (from New York)
and got around 24-26mpg. My Vue is around two months old, and
I found normal driving - not pure highway, but a mix - is
21-23mpg.

Premium gas at a Texaco in the Outer Banks near where we were
staying was $1.60. The cheap stuff was $1.40.
