Clearcoat Question

hey there . .I have a drk blue 99 Outback Legacy wagon . .I just noticed
over the last week I have what looks like little scrapes all over the hood -
each one about an inch long. It looks to me as if the clearcoat is cracking.
We have had a lot of sun and high temperatures lately so I am wondering if
that would be the cause of what I am seeing . .and then my other question
would be . .what can I do about it if anything or am I going to have to
repaint it soon. I would appreciate any information.

thank you for the reply ..I bought it new . .I havent removed anything .
..has me worried big time.

Even though out of warranty, you might take it up with the dealer. Every

now and then a paint formulation goes bad and sometimes manufacturer will
fix.
