I didn't know you could collect for the reduced market value of your car

can. I know most people will not buy a car with a bad Carfax unless it's
offered at a big discount. Anyone else know about this stuff? |
First off, I wouldn't take that site at face value, as it's pretty
anti-insurance companies in general. And the problem with Carfax is
that you don't really know the severity of the accident. There's no
way to find out. So, a minor fender-bender seems to be the same as a
major accident, in most people's minds. And Carfax doesn't necessarily
have info on every accident, either.
