I have an 86 GL-10, and it hasn't been making heat. I have come to the conclusion that the heater core is bad, since one hose is hot and the other is cold. I have called around, and the price to get a new one is like 600 bucks. Thats about 3/4 of what the car is worth. Heater cores are very hard to come by for this model. What can i do?? Thanks in advance. |

The lever that controls the heat, hot to cold, works a valve in the hot water line. If it doesn't work, it causes the same effect and is more likely your problem. Check that first. -- Bob Noble www.sonic.net/bnoble "cale" <klskagen (AT) aol (DOT) com> wrote in message news:1163719560.901932.319090 (AT) m73g2000cwd (DOT) googlegroups.com...
