I guess you'd call it Chinese Red. I used that color on some outdoor furniture once, it almost blinded people when the sun was really bright. :-) I imagine it's much more noticable when driving, but not to the driver unless you look at your self in store windows. ;-) I used to do that when I got my factory "daisys" for my '68 911, they were pretty simliar to your wheels. The wheels on my Outback and Baja (8 "spokes") would cover too much of the opening and the caliper paint job wouldn't be noticable. Sigh... Nice documentation...but what was all the newspaper for? <snicker Don |

What brand of paint do you use? I need to repaint the calipers on my bike. Looks nice. I did mine (H6 sedan) a while back although I didn't take the calipers apart I chose a more sedated black since you can't see them. If you had more open wheel I would've suggest painting the rotor also. Nice job.
