Not the case here, bud. I'm just asking for Subaru to clean up the mess
they made. They created a mess so they should clean it up... just like any
other company in the real world.

You wasted 10 times the amount of time responding with your idiot

What Ceph Lopod says....

Quote:
Whiney childish posts to this newsgroup will make Subaru buy your
car? That makes sense.
Actually, I could go either way. If Subaru doesn't buy my car back from me
at fair market value, that's just fine with me. I've just got one more
thing to talk about to the many folks who ask me "how do you like your
Subaru?" I can tell 'em what a big mess Subaru made on my car and how they
didn't clean it up.

Yep, I could be Subaru's worst nightmare.

Why don't you see how far you get with the Attorney General of your
state? I'm sure they'll be as sympathetic to your dunder headed cause
as the folks in this newsgroup.
You're getting loopier by the day.
I guess someone had to come around to take USA Vette, John Boushay 's
place as group dingle berry.
Carry on. Oh and pull your collar up. Your foreskin is showing.

Don't flatter yourself. You long ago lost the option of being considered as
anything else but a threat to your own future. Subaru isn't losing any sleep
about you, and neither is anyone else.
But you clearly are. Take a big dose of cough syrup and lay down, eh?
Dream about getting a Chevrolet or a Ford. They're dying for folks like you
to buy, so they can lose even less sleep than Subaru!

You folks are just too funny. Your blind allegiance to Subaru is a real
interesting study in human behavior. Subaru sells out its' AWD to the
competition, and you folks are still blinded to that fact. Yur jusss
followers of Sue-bee, yup-yup.

Thank you DH and others for all this great entertainment... it's really been
fun and I hope it continues. Lost sleep? Only if I laugh too much.

Cheers!

What SuperPoo eludes to....

Subarus!

Let me guess here.... you're gonna go out and buy a few more Sue-bees
because of me? ; )

I'll buy Subarus regardless of what you do or what your opinion is...

And one other thing I'll also do is add you to my ignore list so I
don't have to read your incessant, childish whining.

What else has a decent AWD system?

What morden asks...

Quote:

It's a known fact in the auto industry that Subaru has sold it's patented
AWD system to other car manufacturers.

Look around, you'd be surprised. Honda is coming out with a better and
better AWD. Toyota as well. There's really no reason to go with Subaru
anymore.... they've sold out to the competition the only reason to buy a
Subaru.

Oh yeah? And where are the results?

AWD systems from Honda and Toyota are no match to that from Subaru (yet?).
If you read past threads you'd see that people claim that there
is a LONG time required for awd on RAv4 to engage and that
Honda CRV has 100% front bias = total crap for sporty driving.

When Honda and Toyota match the awd from Subaru or come 90% close
I'd be the first in line to get their product.

I don't think there is anything special about the Subaru AWD. The MT
models use a center diff w/ a viscous limited slip unit. No big
technology here, but it works incredibly well. The automatic ones (non
WRX) use an electronically controlled transfer clutch - big deal! - so
does the autotrak system in GM's. Many other vehciles use similar systems.
