Default Seatbelt chime disabled - 12-19-2006 , 08:57 AM

Just wanted to report back to the group that the hack to disable the
seatbelt chime works. For those who may have missed it, here it is:

1. Sitting in driver's seat with door closed, turn ignition key to ON.
2. Engage and disengage the seatbelt 20 times within 30 seconds.

It will still chime when you first start up the car, but then you will
*never hear it again* :-)

Is this a toggle?

That is, if you repeat the process, is the chime enabled?
Hmmm... good question. The only reset I've read of is disconnecting the
battery (like for an ECU reset) for 15-30 minutes/whatever and
reconnecting. (write down the radio presets if you do this)
