Sales were poor. Big surprise . Ugly styling and named after a homosexual enclave in New York. Too expensive. Subaru management is clueless. The outback saved them but why? Unique styling, filled a niche good price point. Subaru will never be a luxury brand. Their owners are often repeat customers due to quality and uniqueness. None of the new subarus offer anything unique. |

Subie AWD is great but cant help an ugly design and a name that evokes homosexual dens couldnt overcome awd. Many vehicles have good safety but that is not of concern to many buyers.
