FWIW:
no way I advise this, but I got a free set of aluminum rims/ good
tires off a wrecked/totaled 91? Ford Ranger.
They almost fit, but I had to grind off the lip in the center, AND..
the big pain was the rear DRUM brakes have pivot points that have to
have matching dimples/pits in the rim where they meet. I bet lots of
aluminum wheels will fit with a few careful modifications.

cherokee wheels that should fit fine(i can verify fit on my 85 extraa
