Default 2001 Toyota Corolla - 10-12-2005 , 12:28 PM

Hi, thought I'd put this out there for anyone who might have had a similar
experience. It appears that my 2001 Corolla's A/C is not shutting off when
I press the A/C button and the light goes out. I haven't done much
investigation yet but could it be the compressor clutch is not disengaging?
Has anyone had a similar experience?

Mike

Yes, I believe I did have it on defrost. Are you saying that the A/C
automatically comes on for Defrost/ feet?

Sorry so long to reply,

Mike

Do you have it on Defrost, or on Defrost/Feet?

The air compressor will engage to dehumidfy the air if the system is set to
front windshield defog or defog/feet.
