Default 2003 Echo lease option - 06-30-2003 , 10:53 AM

Hi, I'm thinking of trading my old dodge in and leasing a new Toyota Echo. I
was wandering if there's any fine print terms to watch out for such as
paying a $250.00 deductable for a dent because someone backed into my car
while I was in the grocery store? Am I required to take the car in for
maintenance only at a Toyota or can I just take it to my local Esso minute
lube which includes a free touchless car wash?

Thanks, Tim.

I agree. The Echo is so inexpensive it really would not make much sense
leasing it.

Everything I've read shows that leases are the most expensive way to own
a car, and you do considerably better by buying it. The Echo will last
for years and years, so you're way ahead to buy it.

VERY good, "MikeHunt." Even though I am not in the new car market
(bought Corolla last September), I did do many of the things noted on
this website. Definitely "recommended reading" for EVERYONE faced with
a new car purchase.
