We just got a new Tacoma 4x4 and are now looking for a camper shell. We will be installing racks (Thule/Yakima) for our surfboards and will be taking trips down into Baja. Any feedback on which brands of camper shells to geet/avoid? Thanks. |

Perfectly happy with my now 15 year old Brahma cap; we just camped out in the woods with the dog this weekend. Really basic accomodations: 4x8 sheet of plywood over the wheel arches, storage underneath, full-size futon mattress on top. Since bears, wolverines, and racoons aren't a problem in Baja, I won't warn you to move all food into the cab and close the windows between the cab and the bed. good luck! GTr |
