Funny how Toyota "dreamed up" nearly the same solution, the Scion, as the
Honda Element.

But I think they nailed it in the story when they said Toyota listened to
buyers. The Michigan 3 don't.

Not arguing the similarity between the xB and the Element, but there
are three models of Scion (tC owner).

How can that be when GM sells far more cars than Toyota, not to mention the
trucks GM sells at a rate of six to one over Toyota?.

Regardless of what all the Toyota lover think, Americans must really think
GM is 'better' than Toyota

Apparently not all Scion owners are pleased with Toyotas 'Box car.'
There are lot of them sitting on used car lots and the used car lots of
other brand dealers. We hear that Toyota owners buy Toyotas because they
believe they will last longer, thus they keep their cars longer, much like
one would 'keep' a refrigerator. When one considers how short a time Scions
have been on the market, in the US and how few they sell, it seems odd to
see so many on used lots already. Curious

Calm down, Mike.
Mike doesn't like to be confused with facts, like the graphic showing the GM
red line heading south for the past 27 years, and the two other Michigan
mfrs barely holding their head above water.

People who confuse their dicks with their vehicles are usually very
defensive in that way.

Most sales does not mean best car maker.

Or you would be arguing that the Corolla is the best car. And has been for
the last several years.

And what is "far more?" GM sold just under 109,000 cars last month. Toyota
sold just over 106,000 cars last mouth. That is a difference of about 2.5%.
I wouldn't call that "far more." I would say, "a little more."

Particularly considering that GM has far more brands and dealers than
Toyota.
