In reality, it is more far-fetched today.

I did! Thanks! Apparently there was a lot more awareness back in those
days - 1948 is also the year when George Orwell wrote "1984." Yup, a lot
of good, smart stuff was produced around then - oh, by the way, I was
conceived in 1948! :-D

Absolutely fascinating! - complex socio-economic theories and practice
reduced to a 10 minute cartoon. Glad we are so much more educated and
sophisticated these days and can analyse issues on their merits rather
than continue to embrace simplistic dogma.

What the hell happened to the video? It's gone now! I can't find it
anywhere. If you know where else I can copy it from, please let me
know.

Is "Freedom is Better" "simplistic dogma" to you?

If you don't believe Freedom is Better, please explain how slavery is
better. Use as much space as you need:

Andrew VK3BFA.

We as a nation will always embrace simplistic dogma. It's the problem
of the lowest common denominator. To get hundreds of millions of people
to understand a complex socio-economic problem that crosses
international borders, you have to dumb it down. After all, there is no
I.Q. requirement for eligibility to vote.

Complex problems irritate people (hopefully, they realize that there is
no quick, easy, one-size-fits-all solution), and simple solutions always
leave somebody with the crappy end of the stick.
