Then they probably deserve it.

That logic applies in spades to the current president, who has done
nothing well in his two terms except to get elected, by hook or by
crook. The work of administration of a large and powerful country
doesn't seem to interest him at all judging by the record to date.

He's done well to prevent more attacks within the US. He's eliminated
thousands of terrorists and messed up their financial networks.

Focus on this: "In Iraq..."

In Iraq, what were all these terrorists doing before we invaded? Why didn't
we hear about these thousands of terrorists?

Liar. You've made plenty of cheap shots against Clinton, even after

Clinton's not the president my dear boy.

If I don't like him/her just as you don't like Bush, then yes I will do
the same type and amount of bitching and moaning, bashing just as you
and those of your ilk do to Bush. So there.

What if the next president is found to be having sex in the oval office,
with his/her spouse?

Double Standard? These posters can see no wrong with GWB and no good in any
Democrat, to follow their posts. I am unconvinced that they can objectively
view the record of any president, everything seems to morph into their
needed point of view, Biased as it is.

Political adversaries will flame each other, obviously, but that's not
the context of this discussion.

One head of state (or anyone "high on the ladder") will (essentially)
never publicly flame another head of state. Pretty much never, when
the two countries in question are close allies. There's nothing to be
gained by it, and much to lose.

Put your brain in gear. Blair, like every intelligent, informed,
person, knows that Bush is a mediocre man and a lackey of the
wealthy-elite. It's more than obvious.

You assume that you or I would be right. Not having ALL the information
at hand, then we can only bitch and complain, just as GI's bitch and
complain about the chow. I will be bitching and complaining about
hillary IF she wins and you will be defending her, right?

I frankly don't understand where you're getting this "double standard"
from. I really don't think you are on the same wavelength.
Sigh... you complain that people who dislike GWB's policies bitch & moan,
berating the president. Comment earlier in this thread, quoted above: "We
don't bash the president as you do."

However, if the tables turn w/the '08 election, will you then defend your
own right to bitch & moan about a Democrat in office, "bashing" a president
whose policies you don't agree with? (Ignore that dangling preposition!)

Cathy
