Yah, it's not very dangerous skipping most of your national guard time
and not flying planes either. If he was there flying planes, how come
his commanding officer didn't even know who he was because he was never
there.

He was a pilot.

What were you?

That statement in no way addresses what you responded to.

What were you?

I never claimed to be a pilot. Your statement suggests that you failed
reading in school.

The Brits have a somewhat older term for him.

He's a Wanker. Or as Hawkeye Pierce once put it, he's the newsgroup self
abuse director.

Because he is a draft dodger who did not have the balls to just fess up and
be one.

Clinton did not believe in the Vietnam War and took a stand against it.

Yes, there are, but not ones where you can give the impression that you want
to serve your country in time of war, without having to worry about fighting
the enemy. Typical chickenhawk repug.

How can you be sure you won't go to war if you are a fighter pilot.
In the National Guard during the Vietnam war years, after 1968? Don't
be so naive.

He may have been alluding to the possibility that the ratio of NG personnel
was different in that war than in this one, perhaps because of the draft.
This is a MAYBE. Ponder it and let us know what you come up with.
