Oh yeah, send them a letter. That'll whip 'em into action.

Yep I'll send them a letter alright. They couldn't even handle this
fiasco properly, me & my wife had to send them the information *4* times
before they got it right. Than sent us another letter afterwards to see
if I had any other insurance.

Last week, I read an article (might've been at CNN) about a family whose 1
or 2 yr old daughter was denied coverage because the insurance company's
goofy criteria said she was underweight for her age. A little yelling got
the problem fixed. Don't yell at footsoldiers, though. There's nothing they
can do to change things. You have to deal with the brass: The CEO of the
company, and the insurance commissioner.
That's a much *HIGHER* issue that *will* of course get attention. I
thought the issue was because of being to heavy & it was a boy? Is that
a different story you are referring to?

Why is it a "higher issue"? Both involve kids, if yours can't get
vaccinations conveniently just because you're across state lines. You could
make yours a higher issue if you chose to. Stop dealing with footsoldiers.

Or do nothing. It's probably better that way.

Want me to get the name & email address of a reporter who will include your
insurer's stupidity in an article? That would be delightfully embarrassing
for the company.

OK. Gimme da facts. How far do you live from the NY/PA border? And will the
insurer cover a public clinic, but not your pediatrician?

If this works, you owe me lunch, and it had better be good. The waitress
MUST be hot. I'll designate her outfit.
